Après l'épisode pluvio-neigeux et venteux de la fin de la semaine, Météo-France a déclenché une nouvelle alerte météorologique « Orages » de niveau 3 orange. La perturbation pluvio-orageuse va toucher le département ce mercredi à partir de 4 heures du matin jusqu'en soirée vers 20 heures.
La journée de mercredi sera fortement perturbée : Selon Météo-France on attend, d'ici la fin de l'épisode, des quantités de pluie très importantes, en particulier sur la façade orientale, avec des cumuls de 100 à 120 litres au m2 voire 150 litres ; sur l'ouest l'intensité est moindre, de 20 à 40 litres au m2, localement 60 litres. Les précipitations prendront par moments un caractère orageux très marqué, accompagné de fortes rafales de vent voire de grêle.
Ces orages sont accompagnés de fortes rafales de vent de 50 à 80km/h localement 100k/h contrariant par endroits l'évacuation des eaux fluviales vers la mer.
Dans un communiqué les préfectures de Corse appellent la population à observer les précautions suivantes :
• Éviter, autant que possible, les déplacements au cours de la nuit prochaine et demain,
• Respecter les déviations mises en place,
• Ne pas s'engager sur une voie immergée,
• Se renseigner avant tout déplacement sur la praticabilité des routes,
• Prendre les mesures nécessaires pour la sauvegarde des biens face à une éventuelle montée des eaux,
• Sur la route, s'arrêter en sécurité et ne pas quitter le véhicule,
• Ne pas utiliser de téléphone ou de matériel électrique à l'extérieur,
• Éviter les promenades en forêt et les sorties en montagne,
• Ne pas se promener le long des berges de rivières situées à l'aval de barrages,
• Se mettre à l’écoute de la station RCFM.
Dans tous les cas limiter votre vitesse pour tenir compte des conditions d'adhérence des pneumatiques et de l'allongement des distances de freinage.
Il est conseillé de se tenir informé de l’évolution des conditions météorologiques.
